INSPECTION PHOTOS LEGEND
#1. Scorching around the burner door is an indication of overheating and/or improper combustion with the water heater. This is a safety concern.
#2. The draft hood is loosely attached. This condition will lead to the release of combustive gases into the home.
#3. Outlet is installed above baseboard heat. This is a potential fire hazard.
#4. Abandoned wires around insulation in attic should be in junction box to prevent fire.
#5. Rusted breakers can prevent proper conductivity.
#6. Panel installed directly on masonry wall is considered incorrect because it can allow moisture into panel.
#7. Cracks in chimney with amateur repair will allow water into masonry causing damage to brick and structure beneath.
#8. Leak in the storm sewer pipe leaking into foundation wall.
#9. Exterior of this foundation wall has missing mortar and deteriorated stone with vegetation.
#10. Missing mortar and deterioration allows moisture and vegetation which has penetrated foundation wall.
#11. Improper insallation of plumbing vent outside of bedroom window allowing vent gases into home.
#12. There is a hole in the roof sheathing improperly filled with tar. We were able to watch rain pooring in.
#13. Ponding/standing water is evidence of poor roof drainage.
#14. Gaps & cracks in flashing will can lead to costly water damage of the interior.
#15. Stucco improperly installed can cause costly leak damage behind the stucco in unseen areas.
#16. Flashing missing at stucco wall and roof transition with evidence of water penetraction can lead to damages in the high thousands.
